When the personal computer first became popular in homes across America, people had to content themselves with being tied to a desk. The laptops and mobile devices that seem so essential today would have been virtually unthinkable just a few decades ago. These days, laptops are used as portable workstations; it’s possible to take all of one’s documents, correspondence and other assorted business paraphernalia on the go.

But portable computers are only convenient so long as they’re toted around in a trendy laptop bag. It’s not as though laptops feature handles or built-in protective measures. Without a specially designed carrying case, laptops lose all of their portability – which is really their primary advantage.
